The service

Amun provides automated readings and identifications of Egyptian inscriptions and artifacts. Outputs can be incomplete or wrong. They are not professional Egyptological advice.

Accounts and limits

You are responsible for your account. We may rate-limit free use. Paid features are billed by Apple or Google, not by this website. Restore purchases in the app.

Your content

You keep rights in photos you upload. You grant us a license to store and process them so we can run the pipeline and show results back to you. Do not upload images you are not allowed to use.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the API or pipeline, scrape other users’ archives, or use the service to break museum or site photography rules.

Liability

The app and site are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for missed translations, misidentifications, or trip decisions you make from a scan.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the new terms.
